Located just outside McCaysville, GA and on the banks of a branch of Wolf Creek, Cool Waters Getaway is the perfect retreat for couples and families looking for a quiet mountain escape. Cool Waters is easily accessible so you can leave your 4-wheel drive gas guzzler at home; instead pack your car with plenty of toys for the kids to play with in the yard, and beach towels to carry with you when you walk down to the community swimming hole in Wolf Creek. Even if you are a little too long in the leg to enjoy a dip in the waters of Wolf Creek along with the kids, in a matter of minutes you can drive to one of several tubing or rafting outfitters in the area or pack a picnic and spread out under one of the pavilions next to the peaceful waters of nearby Ron Henry Horseshoe Bend Park.
The outdoor purist will appreciate the simplicity and irreplaceable appeal of Cool Water’s wood burning fireplace, though they will likely enjoy the added luxury of the cabin’s steamy hot tub as well! The cabin’s open floor plan and master suite in the large sleeping loft with walk-in closet & private balcony give the cozy retreat an open feeling and leave plenty of room to gather for a movie or family time.
