Nestled in the treetops and overlooking the rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, Robin's Nest offers its guests a unique view of the spectacular surrounding vistas and beautiful Toccoa River.  Robin's Nest ideal location, perched on the top of Moonshine Mountain, offers guests a true bird’s eye view of the lush North Georgia Mountains.  The cabin sits above an endless sea of green hills, gently rising and falling along the landscape before fading into the distant mist.  From the front porch of Robin’s Nest you can see the shimmering silver ribbon of the Toccoa River winding its way through the green below, and if you time your rendezvous with the cabin’s  rocking chairs just right you can even catch glimpses of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway chugging its way through the maze of valleys and mountains.

Alone on a large lot, Robin’s Nest, has the gift of both seclusion and outdoor living space.  Families with children who like to explore will love Robin's Nest.  The cabin’s landscaped grounds are gently sloped to give the kids space to run and play.  The enormous covered porch with multiple seating areas provide a comfortable place to kick back, put you r feet up and relax in the shade while you soak in the crisp mountain breeze.  In fact, Robin's Nest is in such a serene setting that through the early morning mist guests will look out the French doors to find they are temporarily sharing the cabin grounds with a family of deer.  The deer have kept Robin's Nest a daily stop on their excursions through the surrounding hills, they love to stop by and snack on the vegetation around the cabin.   

The tranquility surrounding Robin's Nest and beautiful natural setting also carry through the cabin’s interior.  The cabin décor as been inspired by nature with more of a welcoming country cottage feel, and with multiple sets of French doors throughout the cabin, welcoming in the mountain air and sunlight could not be easier.  Robin's Nest floor plan and amenity package make it a natural fit for small groups, families or couples. Each level of the cabin boasts a full bath and sleeping area for guests, including the sleeper sofa located inside game room on the cabin’s terrace level.  Though the cabin offers internet access and a TV in the game room for those who cannot quite breakaway from the daily grind and news, Robin’s Nest greatest amenity is its appeal to those looking for peace and quiet.  A fully stocked  kitchen and gas grill are  available for guests to use, though we are betting  the cabin’s plush patio set, and collection of board games and books will get much more use!

Just a short drive down Moonshine Mountain, Robin’s Nest also offers guests access to the community’s picnic area with Toccoa River frontage.  On the way down the mountain guests will pass another of our rental cabins, Toccoa Overlook, which is located only .5mi from Robin’s Nest front door!  These cabins would make great dual rentals for large groups and holiday bookings.  The ideal location of the cabins leaves guests in close proximity to horseback riding, tubing, whitewater rafting, as well as dining and shopping in either Blue Ridge, GA or Copperhill, TN & McCaysville, GA.
