At Fade Away on Fightingtown guests are mere minutes from shopping, dining, & other local attractions, but still potentially hundreds of miles away from any obligations or their day to day grind.

***Everything is CATCH & RELEASE. You can only use single barbless hooks, artificial flies, and lures.Live bait such as salmon eggs, sweet corn, etc is prohibited. Tackle is limited to a fly rod or a light weight spinning rod and reel.***

Just an amazing place. My wife and I, along with two of our friends recently stayed. The cabin was very spacious (could easily fit 3-4 couples), and the decks were huge; offering an up-close view and the peaceful sounds of the adjacent river. The hot tub was also very relaxing! Very close to Blue Ridge and McCaysville. We enjoyed spending time at each spot and then using the cabin as a place to unwind and recharge.

We had a blast staying at this cabin. Not only was the cabin incredibly spacious and had perfect sleeping accommodations for our group, but it also had an incredible view from each of the three balconies. The fire pit area, pool table and hot tub were hits, but nothing beat the creek - you can hear it singing to to from inside the cabin, and it was the perfect view when drinking coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning. Water was pretty cold during most of our stay but we spent lots of time in the creek each day. Didn’t have much luck fishing but we saw several. Would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great cabin experience in the mountains.
